DeliciousDoor vs. Vegancuts: Which Snack Subscription Box is Right for You?
Don’t you hate going to grab a snack only to discover there’s not a single healthy or satisfying thing nearby? Healthy, tasty snacks aren’t too much to ask for, but they are elusive unless you have the time to scour the grocery store shelves. And you definitely don’t want to buy a large bag of something just in case you get home to find it’s nowhere near as tasty as it looks. No, thank you.
Instead, you can sign up for a subscription box with the sole purpose of delivering tasty, healthy snacks to you. Both DeliciousDoor and Vegancuts provide a wide variety of healthy snacks for their subscribers, but they’re two very different services. If you’re trying to decide which one is right for you and your snack needs, here’s everything you ever wanted to know about the two.
What They Are
DeliciousDoor is all about introducing you to tasty plant-based snacks that are also good for you. They’ll deliver to your home or office once a month, and each box has 12 premium-quality snacks for you to nosh on.
Vegancuts sends you vegan and cruelty-free snacks too. Their boxes include 10+ snacks per month and they also have a Beauty Box subscription too. Bonus: They donate a portion of each sale to a different Animal Sanctuary each month.
Cost & Value
DeliciousDoor offers monthly, 3-month, 6-month, and yearly plans. You can get a monthly box of 12 snacks for between $32- $36 per month, depending on which plan you choose.
The Vegancuts Snack Box has three plans: monthly, 3-month, and 6-month. The monthly Snack Box costs between $27.95-$24.95 per month, depending on which plan you opt for.
Both brands also offer customizable Corporate Box programs, which allow companies to gift to their employees or offer in-office snacks monthly. These packages can be personalized to each individual business’s requirements, so prices vary.
Winner: Tie. (While Vegancuts is the more affordable option, DeliciousDoor provides more snacks each month, making both Snack Boxes good value for money.)
Both DeliciousDoor and Vegancuts provide healthy, nutritious snacks for you and your family. Each snack from DeliciousDoor is free of genetically engineered ingredients, artificial flavors, artificial colors, and gluten, and is 100% plant-based. Vegancuts’ snacks are 100% vegan and mostly healthy but do not undergo the stringent health measures that are present with the DeliciousDoor snack box.
Right now, DeliciousDoor doesn’t provide a way for you to customize your box. Vegancuts does, though, through their Vegancuts Market. The Vegancuts Market allows customers to build their own box and add-on to their existing subscription.
DeliciousDoor offers a Refer-A-Friend system where referees get $10 off their first box, and you, the referrer, earn the equivalent of $12 off DeliciousDoor products, by accumulating Delicious Points (DeliciousDoor’s currency). Delicious Points can be earned for almost everything with DeliciousDoor, like subscribing, answering a survey and, of course, referring a friend. You can cash your Delicious Points on future purchases.
Both services provide free shipping within the US. While DeliciousDoor only delivers in the US, Vegancuts delivers worldwide. Likewise, both brands offer special one-time gift boxes like Oversized Snack Boxes and Chocolate Boxes from their Market and Gift Shops.
Neither subscription is safe for everyone with food allergies, especially nut allergies. However, many products are very allergy-friendly with both snack boxes, and often include a wide variety of nut-free, soy-free products. Every product in DeliciousDoor snack boxes is gluten-free, which isn’t the case with Vegancuts.
Things to Know
Before you sign up for either box, you need to have an idea of exactly what food you can expect. DeliciousDoor’s website shows you exactly what foods are available for each month – you can also view previous months.
Vegancuts, on the other hand, keeps the majority of their snack boxes a secret until mid-month, only giving subscribers a sneak peek at some of the products in their box until most have received it and unboxed it for themselves.
