While there’s no shortage of beauty subscription boxes in the $10-$20 range, there’s also another type of lifestyle subscription box for women that’s considered to be a step up from the beauty sample world. These “luxury” subscription boxes usually come with a higher price tag ($50+), and many of them are quarterly or bi-monthly rather than the usual monthly subscription. Because of this, these types of boxes are great for spoiling yourself a little or giving as a gift to family or friends!
FabFitFun is easily the biggest and most popular box of this type, but it’s definitely not the only option. Here are some other luxury subscription boxes that are worth checking out.
One of my favorite boxes I’ve ever tried (and that’s saying something), Lilee is a subscription box made by women, for women. For $49/month, you receive a beautifully packaged box full of the best of the best products in women’s fashion, accessories, beauty, and more. The philosophy behind Lilee is that these $120+ valued boxes can be used both to pamper yourself as well as share with other women in your life.
Female entrepreneurs, get your wallets ready — this box is literally made for you. From books to planners to office supplies, everything in the Sparkle Hustle Grow monthly subscription box is designed to inspire you and help your business grow. For only $39.95/month, you can even write it off as the #BestBusinessExpenseEver. (And hurry — they sell out fast every month!)
Probably the most similar to FabFitFun (and equally as popular), POPSUGAR’s Must Have box has branded itself as one of the best in luxury subscription boxes. For $39.95/month, you’ll receive a box with a minimum of $100 in value, packed full of stylish and practical women’s lifestyle and beauty products. Their products typically range from the latest and greatest in makeup and hair to cute and useful items to add to your desk at work.
Editor’s Note: The February Must Have will be the last Monthly box. They’re moving to a Quarterly subscription featuring more that $250 worth of products for $75 a box.
For this box, “pink” stands for: Positive, Inspiring, Noteworthy, and Kind. Each of their products should represent at least one of the principles of P.I.N.K. — from makeup to jewelry to healthy snacks.
At $30 per month, The Pink Box is actually slightly cheaper than other “luxury” subscription boxes — but you still get four to six high-quality beauty and lifestyle products in each box with a guaranteed value of at least $60 to $100!
Like FabFitFun, Happy Rebel is a seasonal subscription box that bills quarterly and sends you women’s lifestyle products ranging from jewelry, fashion, beauty, home decor, and more. Each seasonal box will have a different dedicated theme and all will reflect Happy Rebel’s signature edgy style. The only downside to this box is the price — at $100 per box (although keep in mind, this is a quarterly box), it’s a little more expensive than FabFitFun, but the quality and value seems to be bit higher as well.
If you like receiving awesome products and doing good, CauseBox is the luxury box for you. For $54.95 per quarter, CauseBox is another seasonal subscription box. What makes CauseBox stand out is that they only feature brands that they deem are “socially conscious” — whether this means they donate part of their proceeds to charity, only employ local artisans, or use ethically sourced goods. This mission means that their purchases help to create more jobs, employ more artisans, provide more job training, and even clean water.
The first lifestyle subscription box curated specifically for professional women, Covet Crate is the perfect box to help you become a girl boss at work. No, really — they literally have a box called “Girl Boss” made specifically for women who are just getting started in their careers. As for the more seasoned professionals, Covet Crate will take care of you too with their “Lady Boss” subscription. The Girl Boss subscription is $54.95 every other month, while the Lady Boss subscription is $94.95 every other month.
