Daily Burn is an online fitness class streaming service that provides its users with useful classes, healthy tips, and support on their journey to lifelong health and wellness. The crux of Daily Burn is their daily, live classes. Each day, a brand new 30-minute class is streamed live at 9 a.m. Eastern time, and there’s a catalog of on demand classes.

Daily Burn is meant to make a healthy lifestyle easier for you, no matter where you are. Of course, it has its pros and cons like anything else.

Pro: Reliable Schedule

The new classes are broadcast at the exact same time every day. You’ll never have to double-check the time or change your schedule to make exercise work. Classes are in the morning, so you can start your day off on the right foot, and they’re available for 24 hours if you have to miss it for some reason.

Pro: New Live Class Every Day

A new class every day means you’re never bored and your muscles are always guessing about what’s next. It keeps things fresh and provides that live, actual class atmosphere that helps you get through the routine.

Con: Only One Live Class per Day

The daily live class is great, but it’s limited. With only one live class a day, you can’t choose different times that work for you or different classes you like better. You’ll have to play on-demand videos for that. If you miss the live broadcast, there isn’t another live class for you to jump in on.

Pro: On-Demand Videos

In addition to the live class, there’s an on-demand catalog of videos you can do whenever you want. There’s yoga, strength training, and cardio for you to choose from. If you do the daily workout but want to push yourself a little more, then you can choose one of the on-demand videos. If you don’t like whatever the daily class is, then you can choose an on-demand video you do like.

Con: Live Class Only on-Demand for 24 Hours

After the live broadcast ends, the class is only available on-demand for 24 hours. You’re out of luck if you really loved the class and want to incorporate it into your weekly exercise plan. This can also pose a bit of a problem if you’re traveling and want to make up the class from the day before. Keep this in mind if you’re signing up solely for the live class aspect of Daily Burn.

Pro: Supportive Community

Daily Burn also provides a community for its users to connect with each other. This provides you with a group of people to lean on when you’ve fallen off the wagon and need a little push. The community helps you stay focused, accountable, and gracious with yourself.

Con: Limited Choices

You don’t have a say in the trainer or type of class. The daily class is always a surprise, so you won’t know who the trainer is or what the class will be until it’s time. This kind of uncertainty isn’t always best for some people. If you like more control over what you’re going to do, then this might not be the right option for you.

Pro: Super Affordable

You only pay $12.95 a month for Daily Burn. That’s significantly cheaper than the majority of gym memberships available. It’s cheaper than a set of dumbbells from Target. It’s a fraction of the cost of a pair of Nike leggings.

Con: No Personal Training Option

Daily Burn doesn’t offer any personal training options. If you’re wanting a licensed personal trainer to correct your form and really help you, then you’ll have to look somewhere else. You can chat with a trainer through Daily Burn’s chat room, but that’s about it.

Pro: Just 30 Minutes a Day

Each of the workouts on Daily Burn are only 30 minutes long. This makes them easy to fit into your already busy and hectic schedule, and you’ll work up a sweat super quick. 30 minutes of quality exercise are all you need to change your body and life.

Pro: No Streaming Limits

You’re not limited to streaming only from your desktop or laptop. Daily Burn is available for streaming on your TV, tablets, and mobile devices as well. This is so useful when you’re traveling or if you find the family TV or computer frequently taken.

Con: Technology Is Unreliable

This isn’t a reflection of Daily Burn, but it is a con nonetheless. You’ll have to contend with wifi connections and operating systems every time you go to Daily Burn. If your internet is unreliable or your computer is old, the whole experience will be more of a hassle than anything else.

Pro: Portable AF

You don’t ever have to step foot in a gym to do the Daily Burn classes and videos. It can go with you on work trips, family vacations, and weekend getaways, so you’ll never fall behind on your fitness.

The Verdict

If you’re looking for an affordable workout that you can do in your living room instead of around strangers, Daily Burn is a great program for you. If you’ve got weightlifting or speed goals, you should probably skip it and stick with the regular gym.
