PurpleTrail Teacher Planner Review
PurpleTrail has a planner for just about everything and everyone, including a Teacher Planner. The PurpleTrail Teacher Planner comes with all the tools teachers need to create an organized classroom—plus, of course, the fun customization PurpleTrail is known for.
The Layouts
Like all of PurpleTrail’s planners, the teacher planner comes with several note pages included throughout the planner, monthly planning pages, and monthly calendars. Instead of a normal weekly schedule, the PurpleTrail Teacher Planner is organized by weekday and subject. This allows teachers to plan things out by class and day with ease. This layout works for teachers of all grades because the subject line can also be divided by class period.
One drawback of the PurpleTrail Teacher Planner is the fact there aren’t weekend days included in the weekly layout. This can be limiting for teachers who teach a Saturday class or want to write their weekend to-do list down with the rest of the week. However, if you plan on using it strictly for lesson planning Monday-Friday, this is not an issue.
The All-Important Checklist
Any teacher will tell you they live by their checklist. This is a chart that allows teachers to keep track of grades for each student, attendance, permission slips, and even tardies. Without a Student Checklist, a Teacher Planner is essentially useless. The PurpleTrail Teacher Planner comes with 13 front-and-back checklists. This guarantees teachers have all the space they need to keep track of grades and more throughout the entire year.
The Amazing Customization
PurpleTrail has quite a reputation for being extremely customizable. Customers can completely personalize the cover of their planner—which includes picking all the colors and even moving certain features around—and have a high amount of control over the inside. You can choose the start date of the Teacher Planner, the size of the planner, how many months long it lasts, the cover material, the color scheme of the inside pages, and even customize the labels on the weekly layout.
There are several add-on sections for you to choose from, including a to-do list, additional student checklists, and health tracking. Stickers and folders can also be added to the planner to increase its functionality. If there’s something you want to customize, there’s a good chance you can easily do so with PurpleTrail’s Teacher Planner.
The PurpleTrail Teacher Planner starts at $36.95 and goes up depending on which features you select and size planner you want.
We’re sorry to announce that PurpleTrail has officially closed their doors!
