7 Things You Need To Know About Intense Women

Intense women: May we know them. May we accept them. May we cut them some slack because they simply can’t help themselves. You know the type of woman I’m talking about—heck, you might even be one yourself (I’m one too).

Intense women are a little scary. They’re focused, engaged in just about everything, and tend to become obsessive about different things. Intense women are like tornadoes. They come out of nowhere, do their thing, and then they’re off to the next place/thing.

1. Intense Women Tend To Take Over

They aren’t trying to undermine you or steal your thunder. They just get into things and want to help in every way they can. Sometimes this means they send you 15 apartment options when you mention you want to find a new place. Sometimes it means they’ll start verbally swinging when someone wrongs their best friend.

It all comes from a good place, but it can be a little irritating or overwhelming for unsuspecting bystanders.

2. They Can’t Chill

Literally, they have no chill. Down time is a foreign concept to them. Intense women like to be busy and involved in as much as possible. They have tons of hobbies, take on more than they can handle at work, and want to have robust social lives. Sometimes this means they fall a little short of expectations or have messy meltdowns from the stress. They’ll pull it together though and pull some all-nighters to get the job done.

3. You Can Expect 100% From Them All. The. Time.

It doesn’t matter what it is. It can be as simple as giving a gift or as complex as learning a new language. They’re going to give absolutely everything because that’s the only way they know how to live. Those who actually possess chill definitely feel taken aback by this veracity and preoccupation.

4. They Are Excessively Goal-Oriented

Typically to the point that they’re overreaching. They love to set goals and intentions for every aspect of their lives. They’ll talk about these goals all the time and do the work required to reach them, but since they’re also super busy they’ll fall a little short of reaching each goal.

5. Relationships Are All Or Nothing

This includes friendships, but most especially applies to their romantic relationships. When intense women meet someone they want to be involved with, they jump in with both feet almost immediately. Some will think they come on too strong, but the fact is intense women love big and they aren’t going to hold back.

If they want something, intense women know it. And they know what they don’t want even better. Intense women aren’t going to waste time by not deciding what they want. They know immediately what they will and won’t accept.

For them, right and wrong, good and bad, acceptable and unacceptable are very clear. It doesn’t matter if you don’t agree with where they draw the lines. They’re going to see it their way no matter what you say or do to change their minds.

To intense women, it’s all one way or the other. You’ll never catch an intense woman riding the fence on an issue.
